Printed on machine made paper and issued in june 1938 with watermark ---- Profiles portrait of King George VI to right , RESERVE/BANK/OF/INDIA in top line and at bottom RESERVE/BANK/OF/INDIA in four lines.

Offices of issue were Bombay , Calcutta , Cawnpore , Karachi , Lahore , Madras and J>B>Taylor being the signatory . 

  

 The Notes were demonetised on 12 th January 1946 .
